A personal coach can be instrumental in guiding you to becoming a stronger,  faster and more confident athlete. Once you sign up, the GUAC Coaching Staff will reach out to you about your athletic history, current training, past injuries and goals. Please allow for one business day for them to reach out to you.

During each meeting, your coach will guide you toward hitting your personal athletic goals. Along the way, you’ll learn tips on how to improve recovery, eat better, and more. You can purchase sessions and schedule them at a date and time convenient to you (pending coach availability). Training is done in facilities and  parks throughout the five boroughs, as agreed upon by the athlete and the coach.

  • Event Specific: Practices catered to individual events
  • Track Workout: Concentrate on interval training (fast short runs with rest intervals)
  • Road Runners: Feature tempo runs (steady runs at a challenging pace)
  • Yoga 4 Athletes: Improving balance, stability, core strength and flexibility

Every athlete is unique. And all athletes deserve training programs unique to them—ones that can help them achieve their athletic goals no matter where they are starting from. All our programs are rooted in an online component that allows you to train wherever you live. Different program tiers give you more interactivity and perks based on the level of support and experience you need.

Our training programs are powered by the dynamic, data-driven platform TrainHeroic. Simply supply some information about yourself (age, gender, current training schedule, recent racing stats, etc.), and you’ll receive a tailor-made training regimen customized to your fitness, experience, and lifestyle. 

A 1 to 5 minute long video analysis evaluating technical flaws and provides cues and corrections for improvement. This information is used to create the athlete’s training programs. We will analyze all track & field events and Olympic lifting exercises. Check out our instagram, @GUAthletics, for more examples of analyses.

Check our website for daily workouts and sports performance advice. The embed TrainHeroic app will feature a workout that can be adjusted to benefit atheletes of all stages.
